The Sanctuary Space

Hacienda La Sierra Estate is a coffee farm in Colombia's Central Andean Mountains, near Medellín.

It is set in a beautiful natural environment with awe-inspiring views of the mountains and volcanoes.

The hacienda is designed in a 17th-century Spanish colonial style and offers modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom.

The dining room serves dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, and there is a healing bar where guests can enjoy Ayurvedic health tonics and elixirs.

Activities available at the hacienda include coffee demonstrations and tastings, horseback riding, hiking, bird watching, and visits to the nearby rural town of Fredonia.

Meet Your Guides

Lisa Power

Lisa is a lover and liver of ayurveda, yoga, and meditation as pathways leading her back home to herself. She has been practicing yoga for 19 years and teaching since 2014. With over a decade of exploring and studying the wide landscape of natural and holistic healing, Lisa was diagnosed with a debilitating chronic health condition at the age of 21, which forced her to abandon her life and budding career and dive headfirst into her own rehabilitation. Her journey has led her from helplessness to greater freedom, ease, and into a loving intimacy within her body, mind, and, most importantly, herself.

She was instrumental in building Canada’s largest Ayurvedic apothecary (according to Forbes.com), transforms lives through her signature online course, The Aligned Life, as an Ayurvedic Coach, and is currently studying towards her Ayurvedic Practitioner’s certification. Lisa hopes that her work can inspire others to develop greater intimacy with themselves and with spirit, as well as expand into their truest expression.

Ashleigh Coughlin

Ashleigh is a 1000 hour+ Tantra Hatha Yoga teacher, psychedelic integration guide, and self healed woman who taught herself to experience creativity and joy after experiencing addiction, depression, and trauma at a young age.

Her intention is to empower fellow women to embrace their inner truth, re-home their lost parts, and reestablish the inner safety required to live a boldly authentic life.

Each day will focus on a new topic, where you will be led through a guided workshop and discussion centred around Ayurvedic self-care, Ayurvedic approaches to deep rejuvenation, yogic practices for feminine balance and replenishment, moon cycle awareness & alignment, reclaiming pleasure and sensuality through Tantric practices, and much more. These workshops provide a nurturing space for reflection, growth, and connection, allowing you to deepen your understanding of yourself and cultivate practices that support your well-being and expansion into greater authenticity & radiant vitality.

  • For your comfort and enjoyment, please bring clothes suitable for hot days and cooler nights, as well as running or hiking shoes and a bathing suit.

  • Intimate Group: To maintain an intimate and personalized experience, we limit our retreat to just 14 guests.

  • Hacienda La Sierra Estate offers a combination of shared dormitory-style rooms as well as single, private rooms with either Queen or King-sized beds.

  • Check-in at Hacienda La Sierra is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM.

  • Yes, all meals are provided during the retreat.
